Eat! Mangiare! Aufressen! Yemek! No matter where you are from or where you go, everyone loves to eat. Our culture, our history, and our festivals are built around food. When I travel, I shop at the local markets and talk to the vendors about their food. I search out those dishes and foods unique to the town or country I am visiting.
I have a lemon tree, and it likes to give me a lot of lemons. I make Limoncello, lemon bars, chicken with artichokes and lemons, lemon pasta, etc. Whatever you can think of to cook with these fruits, we've tried it at my house.
I first fell in love with Limoncello on a breezy summer day on the Amalfi coast. This is not unique, I think this is where nearly everyone falls for this lovely liqueur. As you drive the roads that weave their way through the towns that hang off the cliffs of Amalfi, you see lemon trees everywhere.
